Medical disclaimer: DICOM Viewer is for viewing and organizing medical images only. It is not a medical device, is not certified for diagnosis, and must not be used for primary diagnosis or treatment decisions. Always use a qualified healthcare professional and clinically validated systems.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the iOS app DICOM Viewer published by Ekrem Apps (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Paid features purchased through the App Store are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If these Terms conflict with Apple’s EULA for a paid Apple download, Apple’s EULA controls for that purchase.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store rules. You may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the App except as allowed by law.
The App is a general-purpose viewer. It does not provide medical advice. Window/level, measurements, HU probe, ROI statistics, MPR/MIP and annotations are informational tools only. Do not rely on them for diagnosis, screening, or clinical reporting.
You are responsible for ensuring you are allowed to view any study you import, including patient-privacy and workplace rules.
You keep all rights to DICOM files and annotations you import or create. Those files stay on your device unless you export or share them. We do not claim ownership of your studies.
You agree not to use the App to store or transmit content you are not authorized to handle.
The App may offer a free feature set with limits (including a limited number of stored exams) and optional Pro features, such as unlimited exams, MPR/MIP, export, advanced measurements, and Face ID app lock.
You agree not to:
We may change, limit, or discontinue features. DICOM is a broad standard; some files, transfer syntaxes, or private tags may not display correctly. Import support currently includes folders, individual DICOM files, and ZIP archives (deflate/stored). Other archive types may be unsupported.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular medical purpose, accuracy of measurements, completeness of reconstruction, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ekrem Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, clinical delay, or diagnostic error arising from use or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you only used the free features).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. We may suspend access if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete it.
